留学生在澳洲打工的法律法规
那么什么是正常上学期间呢？移民局定义是：
-学校公开的学期，包括考试期间；
-如果你完成了学习并且入学确认书（CoE）依然有效
-如果你正在为主课活动学分豁免而在学习另外一个课程，如预科+本科
The department considers your course to be ‘insession’:
for the duration of the advertised semesters （including periods when exams arebeing held）
if you have completed your studies and your Confirmationof Enrolment （CoE） is still in effect
if you are undertaking another course, during abreak from your main course and the points will be credited to your maincourse.
不过也有例外：
1. 工作是学校课程规定的实习，那么就不算在40小时/两周里面；
2. 如果你做义工，没有工资，你也必须申请工作许可，并且这个算40小时/两周以内；
<>对于获得工作许可的家属来说：
不管何时，你只可以工作40小时/两周，除非以下情况：
1. 在攻读授科硕士的573类别的申请人家属，只要开始上课了，配偶就可以无限制打工，不开课不可以工作，切记！
2. 在攻读研究类硕士和博士的574类别的申请人家属；
3. 澳洲援助署AusAid和澳洲国防部担保的576签证的家属。
因此，留学带一个“能干的”配偶来打工赚钱，其实也是很经济的一个办法。配偶可以做家务，赚钱，甚至说不定运气好还可以搞定雇主担保，实在是划算。
Work entitlement
You can work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnightwhen your course is in session and unlimited hours when your course is not insession. You cannot undertake work until you have started your course inAustralia.
Notes: Work that is a formal registered part of your course is not included inthe limit of 40 hours per fortnight.
If you are doing voluntary or unpaid work it isincluded in the limit of 40 hours per fortnight. A fortnight begins on anyMonday and ends on the second following Sunday.
Dependent family can work a maximum of 40 hoursper fortnight throughout the year. A week begins on any Monday and ends on thesecond following Sunday.
Exceptions: Family members of students enrolled in Masters by coursework （subclass 573） can workunlimited hours when the student starts their main course.
Note: Family members cannot undertake work until you have started your coursein Australia.
Important: You must also comply with the state and territory laws of Australia.Under all state and territory laws, you cannot work during school hours if youare under the school leaving age, which in most states is 15 years.
另外，澳大利亚对正式雇员的工资低标准约为16.88澳元/小时，所以留学生如果工作40小时/两周，生活费基本上绰绰有余了。
